From our clinic at 49 London Road we straighten teeth for children, teenagers and adults, and we welcome both NHS and private orthodontic patients.
Braces and aligners are not a sideline here. They are the only work we do. The building was designed around specialist orthodontics and fitted with up-to-date orthodontic equipment, and a Specialist Orthodontist designs your plan and carries out your care.
Depending on your teeth and how you live, we might suggest Invisalign® clear aligners, tooth-coloured ceramic braces, traditional metal braces or lingual braces fixed behind the teeth. Under-18s who meet the NHS criteria can be treated on the NHS. At your first appointment we talk through each option openly and set out what it costs.
The clinic belongs to Portman Dental Care, a UK dental group. That gives our team in Sevenoaks the backing of a wider organisation, while your appointments and your orthodontist stay right here in town.

Each of them qualified as a dentist first, then spent at least three more years in hospital-based postgraduate training to become an orthodontic specialist.
Consultant Orthodontist

Ahmed qualified as an orthodontist after extensive training at the University of Glasgow, where he worked as a clinical lecturer. In 2013 he was awarded a PhD for a clinical trial assessing the effectiveness of different orthodontic braces.

Devaki enjoys treating children and adults alike, and provides Invisalign® and lingual orthodontic systems. She has published in journals including the Journal of Orthodontics and the British Dental Journal, and has presented nationally at the British Orthodontic Conference.

Ahmed works in both NHS specialist and private practice, treating adults and children with an emphasis on clear aligners, clear/ceramic fixed braces, self-ligating Damon braces and WIN lingual braces. He won Best Young Orthodontist South 2023.
